Example 1: Direct: "I am tired." -> Reported?

She said (that) she was tired. (am/is -> was)

Example 2: Direct: "I will help you." -> Reported?

He said (that) he would help me. (will -> would; you -> me)

Example 3: Direct: "Did you see the film?" -> Reported?

She asked me if/whether I had seen the film. (Questions: asked + if/whether + statement order.)

1. Change to reported speech: a) "I like pizza." b) "We are leaving tomorrow." c) "I have finished." d) "I bought a car."
2. Report the questions: a) "Where do you live?" b) "Are you happy?" c) "Have you ever been to London?"
3. Report the commands: a) "Close the door!" b) "Don't run!" c) "Please sit down."
4. Time/place changes: today -> that day; here -> there; tomorrow -> the next day. Rewrite: "I will come here tomorrow."
5. Change back to direct speech: a) She said she was going to the cinema. b) He asked me if I liked music.
6. Translate: a) Él dijo que estaba cansado. b) Ella me preguntó si quería ir.
7. Report a conversation between two friends (5 exchanges).
8. Correct the mistakes: a) "He said he will come." b) "She asked me where do I live."
