Introducción
En esta lección veremos el uso del Past Simple con verbos irregulares, cómo se forman y cuándo se emplean.
Explicación
Los verbos irregulares no siguen la regla de añadir -ed; cada uno tiene su propia forma pasada, que hay que memorizar.

Present Continuous (Presente continuo)
El Present Continuous (también llamado Present Progressive) se usa para hablar de acciones que están ocurriendo ahora mismo, en el momento de hablar. En español equivale a «estar + gerundio»: «Estoy estudiando» → I am studying.
¿Cómo se forma?
La estructura es: sujeto + to be (am/is/are) + verbo con -ing

📌 Recuerda
CVC = consonante + vocal + consonante (en sílaba acentuada). Si el verbo tiene una sílaba y acaba en CVC, doblamos la última consonante: run → running, sit → sitting, swim → swimming.

¿Cuándo usamos el Present Continuous?

1. Acciones que pasan AHORA MISMO: Look! It's raining. (¡Mira! Está lloviendo.) I'm doing my homework right now. (Estoy haciendo los deberes ahora mismo.)
2. Acciones temporales (en este período): I'm reading a very good book this week. (Esta semana estoy leyendo un libro muy bueno.)
3. Planes futuros ya decididos: We're going to the cinema tonight. (Vamos al cine esta noche.)
