Practice Text: Formal Email

Subject: Information about Summer English Camp

Dear Mr Williams,

My name is Laura Martinez and I am a Year 6 student from Madrid, Spain. I am writing to ask for information about your Summer English Camp in Brighton.

I would like to know the dates of the camp, the price, and what activities are included. I am also interested in knowing if there are students from other countries, because I would like to practise my English with native speakers.

Could you please send me a brochure or a link to your website?

Thank you for your time. I look forward to hearing from you.

Yours sincerely,
Laura Martinez

Remember
In formal emails: 1) Be polite, 2) Be clear and concise, 3) Use "could you please" for requests, 4) End with "Yours sincerely" (if you know the name) or "Yours faithfully" (if you do not).
