Practice Text: A Day at the Science Museum
Last Saturday, our class visited the Science Museum in the city centre. We arrived at 10 o'clock in the morning and our guide, Mr Johnson, was waiting for us at the entrance.
First, we went to the Space Room, where we could see real pieces of meteorites and a model of the International Space Station. My favourite part was the planetarium, where they showed us the stars and constellations of the night sky. It was amazing!
After lunch in the museum cafeteria, we visited the Robot Exhibition. We could even program a small robot to move and pick up objects. Tom, my best friend, was so good at it that the guide congratulated him.
We left the museum at 4 p.m. Everyone was tired but happy. I think it was the best school trip we have ever had!
