Writing: Essays, Emails and Reviews
How to Write an Essay (120 words)
An essay presents your opinion or ideas about a topic in an organized way.
Introduction (2-3 sentences)
Present the topic and your opinion.
Body (2 paragraphs)
Give reasons and examples. Use connectors.
Conclusion (2-3 sentences)
Summarize your opinion.
Example
Essay: "Should students wear school uniforms?"
Introduction: The topic of school uniforms is very debated. In my opinion, wearing uniforms has more advantages than disadvantages.
Body 1: First of all, uniforms are practical because students do not have to think about what to wear every morning. Moreover, all students look the same, so nobody feels different because of their clothes.
Body 2: On the other hand, some people think that uniforms limit students' freedom. However, I believe that there are many other ways to express our personality.
Conclusion: In conclusion, I think school uniforms are a good idea because they save time and reduce differences between students.
