Connectors and Text Organization
Connectors are words or phrases that link ideas and help organize a text. Using them makes your writing clearer and more coherent.

Example
Well-connected paragraph:
"I love living in my city. First of all, there are many parks where I can play. In addition, the schools are very good. However, the traffic can be a problem because there are too many cars. All in all, I think it is a great place to live."
Remember
A good text uses connectors to link paragraphs and ideas. Without connectors, your writing sounds like a list of disconnected sentences.
Exercises- Complete: "I like English _____ (because/although) it is useful. _____ (However/Moreover), I find grammar difficult."
- Rewrite this paragraph adding connectors: "I wake up early. I have breakfast. I go to school. I study all morning. I have lunch. I play with my friends."
- Write a paragraph about your favourite hobby using at least 5 different connectors.
- Classify these connectors: however, because, first, in addition, therefore, for example, in conclusion.
