Reading Comprehension: Stories and Descriptions
Reading a story
The Lost Dog
Last Saturday, Tom was walking in the park when he found a small brown dog. The dog was alone and looked very sad. It had a blue collar but no name tag.
"Don't worry, little friend," said Tom. "I'll help you find your owner."
Tom took the dog home and made posters with a photo of the dog. He put them all around the neighbourhood. The next day, a girl called Lucy came to his house. "That's my dog, Biscuit!" she said happily. "He ran away yesterday when I opened the door."
Tom was glad he could help. Lucy thanked him, and they became good friends.
