Ejemplo
Ejemplo: I had been studying English before the exam started.
Ejercicios
By the time we arrived, the film ___.
She ___ (play) tennis every Saturday when she was a child.

My ñame is Elena and I'm 16 years old. I live in Málaga and I go to a secondary school near the beach. Right now, I'm sitting in the library because I'm studying for my English exam.
I've studied English since I was 6 years old. I've been learning French for two years too. Last summer, I went to London with my family. We stayed for two weeks. Before we went, I had never been to England. It was the best holiday I've ever had!
While we were walking around London, we saw many famous places. We visited the British Museum, which was fascinating. My father had already been to London three times, so he showed us all the best places.
Next summer, I'm going to go to Ireland to do an English course. I think it will be a great experience. I've been saving money since January to pay for the trip. I've already saved 500 euros!
