Reported Speech (Indirect Speech)
When we report what someone said, we change the tense, pronouns and time expressions.
Tense changes (backshift)

Other changes
today -> that day, tomorrow -> the next day, yesterday -> the day before, here -> there, this -> that
Ejemplo resuelto
Direct: "I am studying for the exam," she said.
Reported: She said (that) she was studying for the exam.
Reported questions
Yes/No questions: asked + if/whether + subject + verb
Wh- questions: asked + wh-word + subject + verb (no question mark, no inversion)
Ejemplo resuelto
Direct: "Do you like pizza?" he asked me.
Reported: He asked me if I liked pizza.
