- Rewrite these choppy sentences into one fluent paragraph using connectors: "I woke up late. I missed the bus. I ran to school. I arrived on time. The teacher was not angry."
- Write a for-and-against paragraph about homework using: on the one hand, on the other hand, moreover, however, in conclusion.
- Replace the connector with a stronger alternative: "but" -> however/nevertheless, "so" -> therefore/as a result, "and" -> moreover/furthermore.
